The ‘Three blocks-per-game NBA seasons’ quiz

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is one of the players with the best chance to unseat Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as league MVP, but a rib contusion he suffered against the 76ers threatened to keep him below the minimum 65 games-played threshold to be considered for the award.

Wembanyama has 63 games under his belt with three to play in the regular season, and while the Spurs are locked into the two-seed in the West, the Spurs said they expect him to return before the playoffs begin. While the Spurs will want Wemby to be in the running for Most Valuable Player, they also need him healthy if they want to return to the Finals for the first time since winning the title in 2014.

If he does fall short of the threshold, he and the Spurs can appeal for him to still be considered for the award — but the closer he gets, the better his case.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Wembanyama is currently averaging 24.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and an NBA-best 3.1 blocks-per-game. With that being said, can you name every NBA player to average at least three blocks-per-game for an entire season?
