Brandi Glanville Reveals She Underwent Emergency Surgery

Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville hasn’t had the best few years regarding her health. This is the case as the reality star has been open about suffering from a parasite that potentially altered her face. Now, after recently debuting a brand new look, Glanville is opening up about recently being forced to have emergency surgery due to complications with her breast implants.

According to InTouch Weekly, Glanville recently discovered that one of her breast implants, which she has had since 2007, was leaking. Following that, she was forced to undergo life-saving surgery. She said before the operation to the Daily Enquirer, “I’m just scared to death. It’s something that I could die from if I hadn’t figured it out.”

She then discussed the issue with her implants, saying, “The woman [who] did the sonogram was like, ‘Brandi, you need to get those out yesterday.’ She’s like, ‘You have a slow leak in your left [implant] and your right [implant] is completely ruptured, and it’s in all of your lymph nodes under both arms. That’s probably why, whatever’s going on in your face, it can’t drain because your lymph nodes are clogged with silicone.'”

Glanville continued the discussion before the operation about finding the right surgeon. In the end, she chose Dr. Ariel Ourian. According to the former “RHOBH” star, “Our plan is to take them out. [Dr. Ourian] said there’s scar tissue built up and he doesn’t know what he’s going to find in the lymph nodes and how much scraping he’s going to do, so our second plan would be to put another implant in — which I was like, ‘Nope!’… I’m like, I don’t want silicone in my body at all.”

From there, Glanville stated that she hoped this operation would help put her life back together. She said, “I want to look better again. I want to work again. I want to have energy again.”

There is intense concern about Glanville’s overall health. Because of this, her social media comments are flooded with people who want the best for the former Bravo star. One person said, “This woman can’t catch a break. Praying for you, Brandi. Feel better soon.”

Someone else wrote, “I have been telling her that this is what is causing her sickness. She finally listened!!!” Another person said, “Girl, you are really going through it. I’m sorry all these bad things are happening to you. Prayers for you.” A different Instagram user said, “Finally, been telling you for years to get them out!!! You will feel so much better. Good luck.”

Finally, someone else stated, “Praying for a speedy recovery.” Most comments echo a shared desire for Glanville to thrive and return to a sense of normalcy.

Glanville has documented the adverse changes caused to her face by what she had stated was a parasite. More recently, in January 2026, the former “Traitors” star debuted a new look that resembled the woman fans got to know on television.

On January 26, she posted a photo alongside her doctor ahead of an appearance at Sundance. Glanville said in the caption of the Instagram post, “Thank you, Dr. Nicholas Nikolov, for the amazing CellSound and for preparing me for the Sundance Film Festival & looking forward to the PBM Princess movie event at Kemo Sabe.”
