QUESTION: Mr. Armstrong, I am new to Socrates. Everyone told me you have done more research and have real-world experience unmatched in the finance world. Your post on silver and the long-term blew my mind. Nobody has ever explained the real history of silver and confiscations. Is this why you have been saying ‘by silver dollars and coins’ rather than ‘by silver bars’?

    OP

ANSWER: Yes. I look to see what governments have done before because they inevitably will repeat the same actions. But what is even more important is that 99% of the analysis and economic theories are always domestically oriented. They never seem to look at the world as a whole. This is why these theories like Keynesianism are failing today. History REPEATS because governments will always act in their own self-interest today as they did in ancient times.
