It comes several weeks after she took to the popular media sharing platform to slam critics who continue to joke about her shape despite losing a lot of weight already.

In the post, the “Truth Hurts” singer shares a photo of herself in a print bikini and has her head trimmed off in it.

“Today I saw a fat joke about me— in 2025—and it was viral. It was a dumb joke, and they were just laughing at me because I’m fat,” Lizzo noted.

She continued, “Let me be a reminder to everyone to NEVER let anyone shame you for what you choose to do with your body. Because when you’re big, they talk sh-t, when you’re small, they talk sh-t. Your body will never be good enough for them because it’s not FOR them. It’s for you.”

“If I get a BBL, mind ur business, if I lose 100lbs, mind ur business, if I gain every pound back and then some… mind ur f-cking business,” Lizzo added, before shading them on how her fat a-s “stays living with a paid off mortgage in y’all b-tches heads.”

The Singer Admitted To Trying Ozempic

Lizzo has already lost in excess of 60lbs and previously revealed that she’d achieved her goal weight. In previous years, she said that she tipped the scales by maintaining a healthy lifestyle that involved moving more and giving up junk foods.

However, during a June appearance on the “Just Trish” podcast, she admitted to using Ozempic and other GLP-1 drugs to help her on her journey.

“I’ve tried everything,” she said, per the Daily Mail. “It’s just the science, for me, calories in vs. calories out. Ozempic works because you eat less food.”

“It makes you feel full. So, if you can just do that on your own and get mind-over-matter, it’s the same,” Lizzo explained.

While she admitted to the brief trial with GLP-1 drugs, Lizzo has often emphasized that her results came from consistent lifestyle changes, including adopting Pilates. She also had to abandon her junk food vegan lifestyle, at which time she was eating as much as 3,000 to 5,000 calories per day.

“So for me, when I actually started eating whole foods and eating like beef and chicken and fish, I was actually full and not expanding my stomach by putting a lot of like fake things in there that weren’t actually filling me up,” she said.

Lizzo Scored A Major Legal Win

Lizzo suffered legal troubles after 3 of her former backup dancers, Crystal Williams, Noelle Rodriguez, and Arianna Davis, accused her of fostering a “hostile working environment,” fat-shaming them, and sexual harassment.

However, she scored a legal win in December when the dancers decided to drop their fat-shaming charges against her.

To show her excitement, the “Still Bad” hitmaker took to Instagram to share a video noting that “the truth is finally out.”

“The fat-shaming claims against me have been officially dropped by my accusers. They conceded it had no merit in court,” Lizzo wrote. “There was no evidence that I fired them because they gained weight. Because it never happened. Now the truth is finally out.”

“They weren’t fired for gaining weight. They were fired for taking a private recording of me without my consent and sending it off to ex-employees,” Lizzo added.

She noted that she wasn’t “settling” and proposed to fight other claims made against her “until the truth is out.”
