Britney Spears’ strained relationship with her family has been ongoing for years and intensified after her 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021.

In January 2022, she publicly criticized Jamie-Lynn following the release of her memoir “Things I Should Have Said.”

Addressing the timing of the book on her Instagram Story, Britney wrote, “The timing of your book was unbelievable Jamie Lynn.”

She also insisted that her whole family knew about the abuse she endured during the conservatorship.

Her frustration spilled over as she added, “Congrats best seller … I’m not surprised at all. The nerve of you to sell a book now and talk sh*t but [you’re] f*cking lying.”

Britney’s anger was not limited to her sister, as she also made serious accusations against her father during court proceedings.

Britney Spears Fires Back At Kevin Federline’s Memoir Claims

Britney recently turned her attention to her ex-husband Kevin Federline following the release of his memoir “You Thought You Knew.”

The book included damaging allegations, which Spears dismissed as white lies.

Responding on X, formerly Twitter, she described the “constant gaslighting” from her ex-husband as extremely hurtful and exhausting.

“I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys,” she added.

She addressed the challenges of motherhood and distance, adding, “Relationships with teenage boys are complex.”

Britney shared painful details about limited contact, saying, “With one son only seeing me for 45 min in the past 5 years and the other with only 4 visits in the past 5 years. I have pride too.”

She also forcefully denied Federline’s claims that she drank wine while pregnant or used cocaine while breastfeeding.

Accusing him of exploiting her pain for profit, she wrote, “Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here.”
