Some players only deserve coal this Christmas. With Santa Claus finalizing his naughty and nice lists, the following five players or units left a bad last impression. Here are the worst performances of Week 16.

One day after being officially eliminated from postseason contention thanks to a Philadelphia Eagles (10-5) win, the Cowboys defense played like a team with nothing at stake in a 34-17 home loss to the Los Angeles Chargers (11-4).

Quarterback Justin Herbert, playing with one good hand after undergoing surgery on his left, non-throwing hand earlier this month, had one of his best games of the season behind a makeshift offensive line that lost another lineman — tackle Jamaree Salyer — midway through the first quarter.

That had no impact on Herbert’s performance. He still shredded the Cowboys (6-8-1), finishing 23-of-29 for 300 yards and two touchdowns. Per NFL Next Gen Stats, Herbert finished with 23.9 expected points added on 33 dropbacks, the second-most by a quarterback this season.
