Rapper Busta Rhymes made headlines overnight when two videos of him appearing to check streamers who seemingly trolled him went viral. In the video, obtained by TMZ, Rhymes let a young streamer have it after he called the rap legend “Tracy Morgan” at Art Basel in Miami.

“Wait, what did you say?” Rhymes could be heard saying in the video. “Put your camera down,” he said to the streamer’s friends around them.

Rhymes expressed his frustration, implying that he felt disrespected because he was trying to “show love” by taking pictures.

“… and you’re trying to be funny … You don’t play with a grown man, little boy. That’s how people get f-cked up,” he said.

The tense interaction didn’t stop there, though. Rhymes pressed further, demanding the young streamer explain his actions.

“I’m asking you a question, I ain’t calling you out,” he said. “I don’t understand. … That’s the only way I can understand, by asking questions.”

Rhymes asked whether the streamer was “trying to be funny,” to which he replied, “Everyone was saying Tracy so I was saying Tracy.”

The moment lasted a little longer before the streamer walked away, leaving everyone around them stunned at the exchange.

Aside from the uncomfortable situations Rhymes found himself in outside of Art Basel in Miami, the rapper had some accomplishments to celebrate in 2025, including his Rock the Bells Visionary Award at the VMAs.

According to Rhymes, receiving the award was a special feeling for him because of the hard work he’s put in over the years to be labeled one of the best.

“It’s one thing to have a vision when you were a fan, and you were still in single-digit age, and you was being [babysat] ’cause your mom and your dad was busting a-s to make sure you had everything you needed, and you fell in love with this thing,” he said. “And you just thought one day, by the grace of God that you would get a chance to be a part of this.”

“… then you gotta be better than the win you secured and better than that win that you secured. So, to have these visions that are constant, and then you finally get to this place where you go from being a child to now you’re pulling up to a 35-year career legacy,” he said.
